Old-skool bungee jumping: The flyer dance.
Although traditionally a Mayan religious ritual in honour of the sun, nowadays the dancers perform their spectacular wind down on robes just for tourists. This pole was conveniently located near the Anthropological Museum.

The dancers climb up, drop themselves down whilst unwinding a chord tied to their feet. In 13 winds, they reach the floor.
